These women who changed the history of information technology have led groundbreaking innovations and pioneered the development of some of the software systems that we use today. Their contributions to computer science extend beyond the past, continuing to influence the present. Ada Lovelace – The First Female Computer Programmer 

One of the foundational figures of modern programming, Ada Lovelace is recognized as the first female computer programmer.
