This summer, SSTTEK Academy proudly wrapped up its first internship program that was designed to nurture young talent and foster innovation. The program also provided a unique opportunity for these aspiring professionals to explore their potential, while gaining invaluable industry experience. In return, our interns contributed significantly to our projects with their dedication, creativity, and outstanding work. The exchange of ideas and knowledge was a two-way street, as their innovative thinking inspired us as much as we guided them.
We were fortunate to work with Kübra İrem Ballı from Koç University and İrem Aşıkoğlu from Boğaziçi University. Kübra stood out with her contributions to our Digital Marketing team; her creativity and meticulous work earned her a significant place within the team. İrem, on the other hand, added value to our education and development processes by offering academic support; her discipline and knowledge played a critical role in the success of our program.
We also had an international intern this summer. Jay Patel, a student from the Manipal Institute of Technology in India, made invaluable contributions to our R&D projects with his innovative perspective and relevant experience, particularly in the field of Machine Learning.
We provided these young students with the chance to experience work life and the office environment. By collaborating with them, we were inspired by their fresh perspectives and ideas, and while teaching them what we know, we also learned a great deal from them and the internship process. Their academic excellence and eagerness to learn added immense value to our projects, further reinforcing SSTTEK Academy’s mission to mentor future talent.
Another highlight we’re proud to share is that İrem Aşıkoğlu has joined SSTTEK Academy as an employee, after completing her internship. Her exceptional skills and professionalism throughout the program demonstrated her strong fit for the role. We are confident that İrem will continue to bring her academic knowledge as well as internship experience to our projects.
This internship program marked a pivotal step in setting the stage for future talent, and we are excited to welcome more such students in the years to come. Together, İrem, Kübra, and Jay not only enhanced their own skills but also played key roles in the success of many of our initiatives.
